Shiv Impex Zinc Cut Wire Shots are precision cut from Special High Grade (SHG) electrolytic zinc wire. Designed specifically for deflashing, deburring, and paint stripping on aluminum and zinc die-cast parts.
Because zinc has a relatively low hardness (30 - 45 HRC / 45 - 60 HV), it absorbs excessive kinetic energy on impact, effectively shearing thin parting line burrs and flash without rounding sharp edges, destroying machined threads, or altering precision critical dimensions.
